CARE FOR YOUR ART

Every one of our prints is meticulously crafted on premium fine art paper and canvas. To ensure the enduring quality of your purchased print, it's essential to provide proper care.

ON IMMEDIATELY RECEIVING YOUR PRINTS

ROLLED PRINTS:
Upon receiving your prints in our tubes, gently extract them. Avoid direct contact with the printed area; consider using the corners or the back of the print for handling. Place the prints on a flat surface, allowing them to naturally smoothen out and resolve any minor creases that may have occurred during shipping.

FRAMED PRINTS:
Rest assured, we take every precaution to pack your prints securely, guarding against damage during transit. Upon receiving your framed prints, cautiously remove the packaging materials. It's strongly recommended to clean your hands with soap or use clean gloves before handling the art.

PRO TIP - When you need to handle your print, use both hands and grasp it gently by opposite corners to prevent creasing.

ON HANDLING AND PLACING YOUR PRINTS

AVOID CONTACTING THE PRINTED AREA

Whenever feasible, refrain from touching any part of the page that has been printed. If possible, consider using gloves when handling to prevent smudging and creasing.

CONSIDER THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE PRINT'S LOCATION

The surroundings in which your print is displayed significantly impact its protection.

LIGHT: Ensure your artwork is shielded from direct sunlight, particularly intense south-facing light. Exposure to sunlight may result in the yellowing of your print over time. (This exception doesn't apply to laminated/framed prints.)

HUMIDITY:
Maintain a relative humidity between 35% and 55%. Excessive humidity can lead to mold or insect damage, while extremely low humidity can cause the paper to become brittle.

TEMPERATURE: Store prints in a cool environment. Avoid placing prints near sources that generate excessive heat or cold, such as radiators or air conditioners. Elevated temperatures and humidity accelerate deterioration and promote mold growth and insect activity.

POLLUTION: Safeguard your print from dust, dirt, and other pollutants to ensure optimal protection. Light dust can be gently brushed away using a clean, dry cloth.
